Dr D R Nkosi is a dedicated and compassionate obstetrician and gynaecologist with a wealth of expertise that he brings about to women’s health. He obtained his MBchB degree in UKZN and spent more than a decade as a General Practitioner where he showed a strong commitment in Primary Health Care deep in the rural communities. He then specialized as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with College of Medicine South Africa. He obtained his Masters (MMED) in UKZN where he also assisted with setting exam papers for medical students.
He is very passionate about Women’s Health where he runs Awareness Campaigns with different municipalities, schools and churches. He has worked in different public hospitals and currently pushing his dedication and commitment to different private hospitals where he performs surgical procedures and minimal invasive surgery to enhance quality of life.
Dr Zama Ndlovu - GP Anaesthetist
Dr Zama Ndlovu is a GP Anaesthetist who obtained her Diploma in Anaesthetics of the College of Anaesthetists of South Africa (DA(SA)) in 2013 while working at the Pietermaritzburg Hospital Complex. She later joined the registrar programme and completed rotations in Neurosurgery, Trauma ICU and Medical ICU at Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital.
Since 2015, Dr Ndlovu has been in private practice, providing anaesthetic care in theatre across disciplines including Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Orthopaedics and General Surgery. She has a strong interest in advanced techniques such as ultrasound-guided nerve blocks and Total Intravenous Anaesthesia (TINA), aimed at improving patient comfort and recovery.
She also has a passion for functional medicine and has been practicing medical aesthetics part-time as an Advanced Injector since 2020, focusing on facial injectable treatments that revitalise the skin and support tissue regeneration.
Dr. Nav - Laparoscopic and General Surgeon
Dr. Nav developed a strong interest in surgery during his academic career and pursued medicine at the University of KwaZulu-Natal Medical School (formerly the University of Natal) after matriculating in 1994.
He completed his internship at King Edward VIII Hospital in 2000 and his community service at Prince Mshiyeni Memorial Hospital, where he gained valuable experience in surgery and orthopaedics. He was later appointed as a General Surgery registrar at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
In 2007, he qualified as a Specialist Surgeon after obtaining his Fellowship of the College of Surgeons of South Africa (FCS SA). Since entering private practice in 2008, he has developed extensive experience in advanced laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgery, performing over 10,000 laparoscopic procedures. In 2016, he completed a Diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery at the University of Strasbourg in France.
